How to use this site

Do I think you’re stupid?

The short answer is no. The reason I want to provide a “guide” to use the site is because I took a lot of time thinking of how I wanted to lay out this site and make it approachable for people coming to the topic of nutrition with no background in it. For example, I don’t expect you to be able to give the definition of metabolic or know the difference between Fat Soluble and Water Soluble vitamins.

It’s for this reason that I want to layout where you can find these answers without going to the internet- while it’ll take me a while to build out the site to this point with articles I want to have a framework in place to do so

The Dictionary

Don’t want to read a whole article to understand a word? You’ll see when you click on a word or concept in an article it'll first take to you the dictionary entry for it. This should provide enough context for you to understand what I’m talking about without fully interrupting reading. However if you want to dive deeper into this topic you can do this through the dictionary entry or look for it in the “Related Articles” section on the left hand side (at the bottom of the article on smaller screens). As I’m always working on the site, some links will either be green or blue. Green links denote links that will keep you on this site; this is to say I’ve written an article (or at least a dictionary entry) on the subject. Blue links on the other hand just show that clicking on it will take you off the site. This isn’t a bad thing and I choose my links carefully but I wanted to note the difference.
